Silver Bullion Unboxing Pamp Bars and Coins for my Collection

This is a video for you showing my hobby/investment/retirement that I’ve always been in to. Silver is a great metal and conducts electricity and heat better than any other metal, and when polished reflects light better than any other metal. Silver is also naturally antibacterial. For these reasons it’s used in industry in many ways, is in high demand and gets consumed unlike gold. I’m just betting that at some point based on the supply and demand of silver and many other issues, that silver bullion will be worth significantly more than it is now, hopefully saving me from any hyperinflation of our paper currency. It may seem like a conspiracy theory, but it’s also likely to happen. It’s nice to be prepared!

In this video I unbox some Pamp Suisse silver bars, some Canadian Maples, a few copper Pandas, and a 2012 Britannia silver coin I ordered from Provident Metals.

Thanks for watching!

I purchased a silver Britannia back in 2007 for £10 and it’s now worth £40

  2. Photo314159 says:

Yes, but they weren’t called the "Wilderness Series" then. The Canadian Wilderness Series is from 2011-2013, with two coins per year for a total of 6 coins. I know the first 2011 Wolf coin was based off the 2006 1/2oz design though.

  3. Photo314159 says:

Thank you! I’ll have to check them out. 🙂

  4. GOOGLE+SUCKS says:

troy ounce does not apply to copper

  5. Photo314159 says:

Good! It’s always a good idea. The more I learn about it, the more it looks like we could be on to something really big someday.

  6. Photo314159 says:

    Thank you!

  7. The King Of Random says:

    great videos

  8. Rob Swope says:

a 5oz bar also makes a good paperweiight for homework

  9. Solo Adams says:

Don’t judge I’m a new collector but with the pamp Suisse bars were they meant to stay in the plastic or can you take them out ?

  10. Photo314159 says:

Yep, good call. At worst it won’t loose money as fast as the paper deflates.

  11. Photo314159 says:

    Thanks for stopping by!

  12. Photo314159 says:

    Sure. Thanks again!

  13. Silversing69 says:

Love the pamp bars. Thanks for sharing.

  14. Photo314159 says:

Yeah, it’s pretty cool. I don’t know if I like that one or the regular one better. Both are cool.

  15. Photo314159 says:

Yeah it’s weird. They call it Avoirdupois ounces, (which I can’t pronounce btw, lol) being 28.3 grams vs. 31.1 for Troy ounces. I don’t know why they use two standards, but whatever. Also, Troy ounces are heavier, but Troy pounds are lighter, go figure, Lol.

  16. CrSilver1 says:

Ok good! You’re last comment made it sound like you weren’t interested in rounds but. I’m glad you are 😀

  17. themeloninc says:

    Nice video!

  18. Photo314159 says:

Yes, it came with the case. It’s the first size that doesn’t come on a card.

  19. TheSilverguy23 says:

    Nice video. Thanks

  20. Stash Treasue says:

id love to rob you lol jk man . nice stuff, love ur vids, but seriously protect that silver.

  21. pspcraft says:

Really, REALLY – You waited a day or two before you opened your package, containing your silver bars?! You must have the patience of Job, (in the Bible). Nice silver collection. Hope you have a good hiding place.

  22. Photo314159 says:

Not forgetting, this was an unboxing video. I’ve already got lots of those you mentioned. 😀

  23. Photo314159 says:

I would wrap the coin in cardboard or something so it doesn’t break through the envelope. Also, insurance is a good idea, but at your own risk. I’d get delivery confirmation though, so your buyer can’t say he didn’t get it. It’s up to you though. You can mail it in an envelope, yes.

  24. Gold Silver Council says:

Very nice collection, one of the better stacks out there. If you get the opportunity come past one day and checkout our news precious metals forums. We seek experienced members like you. All the very best and keep up the good work.

  26. Photo314159 says:

    Yeah, I think so. Thanks!

  27. CrSilver1 says:

Photo, are you forgetting the World famous American Eagle, Canadian Maple Leaf, and anything from the Perth Mint?
3 of the most popular you can get. Id pick a few up and see what you think. Perth mint coins do nothing but increase in value. 🙂

  28. Photo314159 says:

    Thanks man!

  29. Photo314159 says:

Lol, yes of course the GOLD coins have higher face values. I mean’t one of the higher silver face values on a 1oz coin.

  30. kidsilvervt vt says:

My favorite coin in your collection was the Brittania. Really nice. If you get a moment, could you please check out my silver video and tell me what you think?

  31. Photo314159 says:

Yep! Good stuff. Yeah my 2003 Panda was about $30 and now it’s around $120. I just wish I had kept my 1oz Gold ’03 Panda I bought for $250! Ooops, lol. Coins can fluctuate based on mintages and other things which makes them more interesting to me than just rounds.

  32. Supthan246 says:

Very nice man, hey I have a question, I have a buyer lined up for a half dollar. He is gonna pay me 15 bucks. Is it ok if I send the half dollar in a normal envelope?

  33. silverfish VT says:

Great video, just like you, I cant get enough of watching other people unbox and add to their stack. Keep stacking my friend!

  34. Photo314159 says:

Well, I don’t really collect rounds yet but if I had to pick one, probably the Englehard Prospector. It’s the most recognizable name I think.

  35. Photo314159 says:

Lol, yes it was a tough wait, all for you guys to enjoy it with me. I am a patient man, but probably not as much as Job. I have a great well armored hiding place off site, at an undisclosed location. 🙂

  36. Silver Legion says:

Canadian cougar is all spotted now i bet too and i agree they don’t look very good. Cheap though I bought a couple and used em to finish a maple tube, maybe someone down the road will consider them a bonus when i try to sell. Everything else – WOW, great stuff!

  37. A.S.A says:

I think your right and are better stacking silver and gold than fiat currency.

  38. Ross Lohrisch says:

    subscribed 🙂

  39. checkfoldcallraise says:

Nice bars I completely agree with what you’re doing. protecting your retirement with precious metals is now what I want to do. I was 22 years old with a 401K that I was building up. I did not know the stock market had an effect until i received a statement showing I had 10% less than a previous statement because of recession. Pissed me off so i cashed out. I wish i knew about silver at that time but I’m 30 now and there is still time to secure my retirement. I’m going metal all the way brother.

  40. PreTrend says:

Entertaining and educational! Saving the best for last I see. Nice PAMP bars Photo.

  41. Photo314159 says:

    Thank you!

  42. AntonIo Fois says:

Hi, i want know if is better buy silver gold for example 1 oz or 100 grams for start collection?

  43. Supthan246 says:

Hey whats ur favorite 1 oz bullion round?

  44. noself22 says:

curious as to what you paid for the 1oz lady fortuna? cheers

  45. Photo314159 says:

Yep, also for insurance proof purposes. I open the orders on camera, for both my honest reactions, as well as proof of what I received.

  46. Photo314159 says:

Oh yea, it’s in an undisclosed remote location in a very vault like safe. I actually don’t have much either, but someday maybe.
