It’s clear enough to me … after the mint technicians get through abusing the product, they go to McDonald’s for lunch. Then, the special distributors get to make a mint off the mint, while the grading rackets make a mint off the special distributors.

The only losers being the fools paying $1000 (or higher) for a 20 coin roll, or hundreds (sometimes thousands) of times the face value of a so-called slabbed coin. The giggle being that these things should be produced for use in circulation!

I’ve bought many tubes and from my experience, each tube of twenty has at least 2-3 very undesirable coins with scratches, and 2-3 acceptable. So about 14-15 coins are in my opinion “new” and undamaged.
The problem is the size of the tube. Its a loose 20 coin tube. You can only drop them into the tube.. no other way to get them in there.
I unintentionally scratch a mint coin just by putting them back into the tube after my first inspection, and won’t know until I pull them out again. Sucks.

No wonder white spots shop on these after they have been graded and sold for a premium. All it takes is one sneeze to spray the surface with miniscule amts of moisture.

Best not complain abt her throwing it into the tubes, dont expect them to place each coin in one by one unless u want the premuim to be higher on these coins.
