Some of the US platinum coins (yes, all they mint currently are proofs) but the mint has much more creativity control over those coins, and some are just fantastically beautiful.

If you are going to own any precious metal, It would be better to own the physical asset.

how much is 1oz of palladium now?

  11. SalivateMetal says:

Thanks Chris. Platinum is an attractive metal. I do have a few platinum pieces and I think that it;s probably my favorite metal for it;s durability and value. It;s still above gold. But, there was a time when it was below gold in value. But, the premiums on platinum are much higher. So, it’s tough to find some at normal premiums above spot price.

Thanks for the upload SalivateMetal! I know that palladium is becoming more popular in jewelery, as it doesn’t tarnish. But I still prefer silver for it’s antibacterial, conductivity and reflectiveness properties. What is your favorite metal? Do you have any platinum? I think Platinum is relatively cheap at the moment compared to gold. Too expensive for me though. Silver is def my fav metal.

Nice Pd. I bought 4 oz in summer 2010 at 500 and sold just 7 months later and got 770, I thought I was pretty slick. Problem is that I put the $ into silver at 26 right away, then I failed to sell the Ag at 48 2 months later. Arrrrgh!

  25. SalivateMetal says:

No problem. Thanks again for the pic. Those bars are nice. Would love to get the whole set like that. Very cool. Looking forward to when you can post here on youtube. Thanks for watching and for your comments!
