Wouldnt it be a lot cheaper to just buy a 1 kilo bar rather than tons of little bars? No?

To own one Silver PAMP is understandable… its the most beautiful silver bar in the market but with a 40% premium? Just buy 40% more silver by buying Johnson Matthey bars.

I totally agree with you. It doesn’t really matter what brand/design you get if you’re holding for the long term from an investment standpoint alone. I definitely wouldn’t stack pamp silver bars, but to me it’s still cool to own a few because of the design and the craftsmanship…it’s sort of like buying a silver or gold numismatic. You wouldn’t get a bunch for investing purposes, but it may be nice to have one for collectibility.

BTW, This video is referring to Silver PAMP, which is the BIGGEST rip off. How on earth do they charge $25+ for half ounce bar and $45+ for one ounce? Pamp is the ONLY brand that charges insane premium compared to the rest. Johnson Matthey or Engelhard has silver premiums of only $1.50-3.00… But when it comes to gold, PAMP and CREDIT charges the lowest premiums among other gold ounce bars. So the point is when it comes to silver, buying pamp at a premium of 50% is not an investment. Cant be.

Here is what i found out after speaking to many gold dealers here at the Diamond district in NYC: ANY 1 ounce GOLD bar can be sold to any gold dealer for spot price, any unrecognizable bars will get 96-98% of spot. Also, whether the bar is still in its pretty PAMP case or not does not matter. The only advantage of having PAMP or CREDIT would be that it is less questionable. Now silver: they pay out 94-96% of spot and most dealers don’t want to buy PAMP silver as it comes with ridiculous premium.

    Silver porn

Buy at high premium, sell at high premium. Unless you plan on holding for life assuming you’ll have to barter or something in the future, then generic is probably the way to go. Pamp bars seem to be more for the collector than the basic investor. Still pretty :D

The premium on these bitches ain’t worth it.

NICE! Love it. I got a few 1 ounce bars. But my favorite at the moment is not P a m p, it’s a 5 oz B a c h e bar. That is really a weight you can feel in your hand, I play with it all the time and it warms up and gets really hot! Silver is pretty amazing, go check my sales at letsgetsilver com , have FUN people! And by the way I always take a few bars with me when traveling abroad as this can be sold anywhere in the world. Imagine the Paper money crashing while you travel???

  14. ashrul yhanu says:

you’ll have a hard time to find a decent space to store them properly….bank’ll definitely ask a lot of money for that many pieces of metal…

  19. fatbudz420 says:

Gotta love the PAMP bars – those 100 gram bars are beautiful!

  20. zackhashable says:

Thanks. For gold bars, try not to get anything below 20 grams. It will be too small and the premiums are higher. On the high side, 100 grams will do fine. Premiums are lower and easier to sell later.

  21. zackhashable says:

Love the 100 gram bars. You can take it out and hold it in your hands. You cant do that with the 1 oz or the 50 gram bars. 100 grams is just the right weight for silver bars.

  22. zackhashable says:

Now that would be nice. Lol.

  23. Raycheetah says:

For just an instant, before I realized that they were Silver, I was about to goggle at all the GOLD bars I thought you had!

Wouldn’t it be nice, though? =^[.]^=
